General Assembly: The group held a general assembly with the aim of letting the community know the result of what we had surveyed. The result will give us the bigger picture of how well the community in terms of their toilet facilities, sanitation, waste segregation, etc. After presenting the result to the big group, they were broken down to small groups and per group, a facilitator was assigned to aid in the activity. After this big event, we couldn’t be more thankful for the fact that everything went according to plan. The people were so cooperative, the weather was good, the BHW gladly assisted us, and there wasn’t any food shortage. Thank you Lord!
After presenting the results, the group also conducted an FGD where the community was broken down to small groups. The task is to let them identify what they perceive as problems in the community. As much as possible, we limit ourselves from getting involve in their ideas so as to not get biased results. The FGD was fun because the people are so interactive and assertive. It was easy to facilitate the activity.
