#TeamNew Dapitan getting involved with the day's event-Mass Oath Taking of the newly elected barangay officials
Last June 29, 2018, New Dapitan’s Barangay council had their mass Oath Taking in their covered court initiated by Mayor Carloto Angeles II.The covered court was cleaned and polished; people come and go; monobloc chairs were piled in neat rows; and the officials were in their best outfit for the later’s event. The community’s approach to the event started out with worship and thanksgiving which, according to the pastor, was special because they were the only barangay who would start the ceremony in that fashion.

A FIRST FOR US. After the oath taking the barangay provided their stapled entertainment-DISCO. It was loud, fun, and jolly event. Everyone was outside-talking, laughing, drinking, or so. We followed them a little later and danced to the beat of the music.
