“Maayong Buntag ma’am/ sir! Pwede po ba kameng magsurvey?” This was our mantra for about 21 days. Since there 3 Puroks, these puroks each have designated districts. Purok 1 holds districts 1 and 2; Purok 2 holds districts 3 and 4 and Purok 3 holds districts 5, 6, and 7. Each counscilor holds 1 purok and by that, we decided to work in pairs to spread out easily.
Bea and Kevin was assited by Hon. Cornelio Barracol in Purok 1.; Nisreen and Kim was assisted by Hon. Rady Espinosa in Purok 3; Theresa and Clyde was assisted by Hon. Jovino Etolle in Purok 2; Deen and Shera was assisted by Hon. Benjie Espinosa in Purok 1 District 2
We have an estimated 300 household and our group decided to split up so that the data gathering would be fast. if one pair has finished their Purok, they would now help to the other puroks for survey. The survey drained all of our energy. Imagine walking house t house from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm just to be able to reach the target household. Our patience, determination, and Bisaya would sometimes ran out, but in the end we would still strive- strive for the betterment of New Dapitan!
